City of Helsinki to start monkeypox vaccinations – vaccinations also available at Hivpoint

The City of Helsinki will start free monkeypox vaccinations for people most at risk of being infected with monkeypox. In Helsinki, vaccinations are available at Hivpoint in Kalasatama and at the City of Helsinki’s vaccination point in Jätkäsaari. The vaccination can be accessed from Tuesday 11.10 by appointment.

Monkeypox vaccinations for those most at risk of infection

The Finnish institute for health and welfare has decided that vaccinations will be given to men who have sex with men and who are most at risk of being infected with monkeypox. Read more detailed info from here >>

The City of Helsinki arranges vaccinations for Helsinki residents and those staying in Helsinki for a long time (incl. undocumented persons). Residents of other municipalities can also get vaccinated at vaccination points in Helsinki. Check the website of your municipality for more detailed instructions.
