Support our Work

Your donation helps us continue Hivpoint’s important work in Finland. Hivpoint, maintained by the HIV Foundation, provides low-threshold HIV testing and counselling services, support for people living with HIV and their loved ones, and information that helps prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

Enterprise and community donations

The Finnish HIV Foundation can accept donations and testaments to support our work. We organize projects in collaboration with different partners when possible.

Fundraising on Facebook

An easy and effective way to support our activities is to create a fundraiser via Hivpoint’s Facebook page, to which you ask your own network to donate.

The campaign encourages your friends to donate, but does not oblige anyone to join the fundraiser. You can participate with an amount of your choice. You can share the completed campaign template directly via Hivpoint’s Facebook page.

Use of donations

The donated funds go towards HIV work following the Finnish HIV Foundation’s guidelines and yearly strategy as follows:

  • preventing HIV transmissions, testing for HIV and other STIs and counselling services for vulnerable groups and campaigning for safe sex
  • supporting people living with HIV and also people who are concerned about HIV (peer support groups, campaigns to fight stigma)

Hivpoint fundraising license

The Finnish HIV Foundation has a money collection permit (RA/2022/1397) permitted by the National Police Board on 12 October 2022. The permit covers all of Finland, with the exception of Åland Islands. For further information, please contact lahjoitus(at)hivpoint.fi.
