HIV phone helpline
The national HIV phone helpline +358 207 465 705 is open from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm.
The calls are answered by employees of Hivpoint. You can call the helpline when you need support, guidance and counselling. You can discuss openly and confidentially about HIV risks and fears as well as other issues related to sexual health. You can also ask about the free of charge and anonymous HIV rapid test at any Hivpoint office. Read more about Hivpoint’s free HIV testing services here.
Online chat counseling
Open from Monday to Thursday from 12.30pm to 3.30 pm. You can discuss openly and confidentially about HIV risks and fears as well as other issues related to sexual health. You can also ask about the free of charge and anonymous HIV rapid test at any Hivpoint office.

Personal appointments
You can make an appointment for personal counselling or consultation regarding matters related to sexual health, sexuality and HIV at our Helsinki, Tampere and Oulu offices.
At our offices, you can discuss for example HIV and other STIs, the fear of possibly having caught HIV and how to protect yourself from transmission.
You can come to the appointment by yourself or bring along your partner or another support person. We also offer crisis couselling for people living with HIV and their close ones. Read more here.
At Hivpoint, you can make an appointment with a nurse, psychologist or sexual counsellor, depending on your needs.
