Phone helpline and chat counselling

Hivpoint’s phone helpline +358 207 465 705 is currently closed for the summer. The phone helpline is open again on Wednesday August 6 from 9.00 am to 11.30 am.

Hivpoint’s chat counselling is currently closed for the summer. You’re welcome to chat with us again on Monday August 4 from 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm.

Our specialists at Hivpoint are here to answer your questions. Hivpoint’s phone helpline and chat service are available when you want more information about HIV, other sexually transmitted infections (STIs), or when you need support or guidance related to them.

You can talk with our staff openly and confidentially about things like exposure risks, fears, or any other questions related to sexual health.

Through our counselling services, you can also ask about our free HIV and STI testing services.
We offer weekly, STI testing by appointment and anonymous rapid HIV testing without an appointment at Hivpoint’s office in Kalasatama, Helsinki.

Sexual health counselling

You can make an appointment for personal counselling. Hivpoint’s sexual health counselling is confidential and free of charge. At Hivpoint, it’s possible to attend to 1-5 sexual health counselling sessions.

The themes of the appointment may include, for example:

  • Prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections
  • Fear of contracting HIV
  • Sexuality (sexual orientation, preferences, etc.)

Sexual health counselling sessions are arranged at Hivpoint’s office in Helsinki. Appointments are anonymous, free of charge and confidential. In our services, we take into account the diversity of sexuality, gender and relationships. Sexual health counselling can be obtained in Finnish and English, and it is also possible to use interpreter services.
