As we have specialize in LGBTQ+ sexual health, you can find us beside you at Pride, in everyday life and standing up for the rights of sexual, gender and relationship minorities all year round. Testing services at Helsinki Pride
Free STI testing service
- on Tuesday 25 June at 3-8 pm at the Hivpoint’s office in Kalasatama
At STI testing service, it is possible to get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. Testing for STIs is free of charge, and the testing service operates by appointment. You can make an appointment about a week before the test on Hivpoint’s website.
Bring your ID card with you. Do not urinate for at least 1 hour before the STI samples are taken. The address is Hermannin rantatie 2 B.
Free rapid HIV testing services
Rapid HIV testing at Hivpoint’s office in Kalasatama
- on Thursday, 27 June from 12–4 pm
Free of charge and anonymous rapid HIV test without an appointment! The rapid HIV test is done by taking a small drop of blood from the fingertip, and the result is ready in 60 seconds.
Rapid HIV test can be done 4 weeks after the exposure to HIV, but a negative test result is fully reliable 3 months after the exposure.
Testing service is intended for people who have been at risk of getting HIV but find it challenging or impossible to get tested at the public health care.
While getting tested, it is possible to get information about sexual health and STIs. Free condoms, lubes and dental dams are available.
Free rapid HIV testing in a camper van
Accessibility: There are two steps to the camper van, the entrance is a narrow door. The staff will assist if necessary. The interior is cramped, wheelchairs cannot get inside the van.
A wheelchair cannot fit inside the van, but you can come to Hivpoint’s office on Thursday 27 June for a free rapid HIV test from 12 to 16, address Hermanni rantatie 2 B.
The camper van can be identified by the Checkpoint signs.
- Friday, 28 June at 6-9 pm Rapid HIV testing in a mobile unit in connection with Bear Picnic
Anonymous rapid HIV testing is carried out in a camper van in connection with Bear Picnic next to the cliffs of Linnanmäki (Tivolitie). The car is identified by Checkpoint signs. Testing is primarily aimed at gay, bi- and other men who have sex with men.
While testing, it is possible to get information about HIV and other STIs and protection against them, as well as PrEP medication.
- Saturday, 29 June at 1-5 pm Rapid HIV testing in a mobile unit at Helsinki Pride Park Fest
Anonymous rapid HIV testing is carried out in a camper van in connection with Bear Picnic next to the cliffs of Linnanmäki (Tivolitie). The car is identified by Checkpoint signs. Testing is primarily aimed at gay, bi- and other men who have sex with men.
The result is ready in 60 seconds. Rapid HIV test can be done 4 weeks after the exposure to HIV, but a negative test result is fully reliable 3 months after the exposure.
- Sunday, 30 June rapid HIV testing next to the cruising area in the Laakso parking place and also in the backyard of Sauna Vogue

In the evening you can see the camper van in the backyard of Sauna Vogue. The car is identified by Checkpoint signs. Testing is primarily aimed at gay, bi- and other men who have sex with men.

A popular condom bar available at Helsinki Pride Park Fest
The condom bar is open at Pride Park Fest on Saturday, June 29 from 1 pm to 5 pm-
come and get free equipment for safe and enjoyable sex!
At Hivpoint’s tent at Pride Park Fest, you will find a condom bar that gained great popularity last year. From the free take-out table, you can choose suitable STI prevention equipment for you and/or your partner. There are condoms from size S to XL. In addition, flavored condoms, dental dams and lubricant are available. At our table you will also find brochures where you can find information on the prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections and more enjoyable sex. Our employees and volunteers will be happy to guide you, and in connection with the park picnic, there is an opportunity for free rapid HIV testing in a mobile unit.
