We are organizing our second Innovation Day on 26 January for 15-20 participants. This event will give a space for people with an immigrant background to brainstorm, “think outside the box” and develop concrete tools and methods to support the work that we do at Hivpoint with multicultural communities in Finland. The Innovation Day vol. 2 will build on the successful first Innovation Day in late 2017 and further develop the winning idea from that day. The first Innovation Day brought together 15 people to brainstorm and exchange ideas around sexual and reproductive health and at the end of the day we had three great ideas and a room full of excitement.
This year we are taking it one step further as this Innovation Day vol. 2 aims at developing hands on ideas for a paid train the trainer program, and on top of that will work as a recruitment opportunity for the same program! At the end of the day we will have concrete suggestions and ideas for the program and hopefully at least five great candidates who will submit applications.
As last time, we will offer a pizza lunch and a certificate of appreciation will be sent to everyone after the event. The language of the event will be both English and Finnish and all participants should be at a level where they can comfortably discuss the issues in one of those languages.
If you’re interested to join our event, please fill in the sign up form in this link: https://goo.gl/forms/cFnKmK1HMGcG32hk2
