Sex between men

When we think of sex between men, anal intercourse often comes to mind first. In reality sex between men is diverse. There are many ways of having sex and many of them are risk free when it comes to HIV and other STIs. It is important to be aware of HIV and other STIs – how they transmit and how to prevent, test and prevent them. That way you can enjoy sex without unnecessary worry.

Prevalence of HIV and other STIs is higher among men who have sex with men both in Finland and in other countries. Especially syphilis, gonorrhea and LGV are common among men who have sex with men.

How to protect yourself from HIV and other STI’s?
